Thank you to the 1,400 people who have used our on-line letter-writing system to send letters to Iranian authorities about Haleh. A list of every letter-writer who has chosen to make their name public is here.

Due to the overwhelming response, our server is running at slower than normal speeds. If you are trying to send a letter, please be patient. It make take more than 10 seconds for your signture to be processed. But it will eventually go through. In the meantime, our technicians are working to fix the problem. Thank you for your understanding.

I tried to sign the petition, but I got the “Page cannot be displayed” page. I checked my settings as it indicated by troubleshooting guide. and then tried againg. Still the petition link would not work. I thought there might be too much traffic hitting that link path so, Then I tired the “Send a letter on Haleh’s behalf” and I got the same thing “the page cannot be displayed” I will try again later, but in the meantime you may need to check for technical problems if this sounds different than “Petition Running Slowly” explainantion, as MINE WASN’T SLOW, IT WOULDN’T EVEN GO.
We have broadband connection and speed should not be a problem on my end. I’m bed ill, I have probems getting to the computer. I hope it will be working better when I try again.

Also, When I saw Her Daughter on NBC’Today Show, (God Bless her loving Daughter,) They never displayed, in writing, the correct spelling of the website, it was only mentioned, and without the correct spelling of such a uniquely spelled name, it may have come off as www.free “Holly”.com. (the way it sounded), or www.free “Holeigh”, etc.

SOMEONE NEEDS TO BE SURE TO CONTACT CHANNEL THE TODAY SHOW ON NBC AND ASK THEM TO PUT THE WEB ADDRESS WITH CORRECT SPELLING ACROSS THE SCREEN. fyi, I have a dish (hate it during raining weather, it fills up like a bowl.) but at least I was able to back up and see how her daughter’s name was spelled as it was listed below her own appearance. This gave me my best clue of even how to get to the website. Other people may not be able to rewind. or have this option. I had to rewind it twice to get the spelling. This could make a big difference if you need as many people as possible.

Tell her daugheter that, if, on these appearances they are not going show the name of the petition website written across the bottom, she or the interviewer should say how HALEH IS SPELLED. Good luck with your efforts.

Also, see if you can get some American Friendly Arab based Company to contribute some money for some more bandwith, or what ever else the effort could use. They should be interested in helping and we know they have deep pockets. Share, Karma, etc…

Tell Daughter Haleh that her whole family, especially her Mother, herself, and her 98 year old grandmother that I will hold them in my thoughts and prayers. (the agony they must be going through would be hard on even a young person.) And, I pray that our (EVERYONE’S) God above, will keep them strong and provide them the wisdom they need to get through this atrosity, and the clam they deserve.

I’ll try the petition again later.

Rest regards, and God Bless all who are involved in trying to help this poor woman and her heartsick, grief ridded family.

    Kimberly Boyd.
