I really hope that everyone who is interested in her release to write to their Senators in Congress and president and vice president to demand Iran that it release Dr. Esfandiari. This is something that every single one of us can do, and together, we can really have an important impact.

As long Islamic regime is running in Iran we won’t see any positive changes in the country policy even towards Iranian people, in this case Mrs. Haleh Esfandiari and other scholars like Mr. Kian Tajbakhsh.

We need all people to ask for their freedom to make one big voice in Iran against this brutal imprisonment of Mrs. Haleh Esfandiari and other scholars and Political prisoners.

Please everybody speak out and ask for freedom in Iran.

The US, by the kidnapping of five Iranian diplomats in Iraq nearly six months ago, has provoked a “hostage crisis” with Iran. Tehran understands Washington’s plan and has just begun playing the same game. The warning from Iran came in May 18 meetings with the Iraqi president, prime minister, foreign minister and other senior officials, when Iranian foreign minister Mottaki told them clearly that “the Iraqi government is responsible for releasing the kidnapped Iranian diplomats, and no excuse is acceptable.”

All of these are happening just before the US and Iranian ambassadors are to meet for the first time since 1979 in Baghdad to supposedly discuss security in Iraq. And now Washington has launched a series of naval maneuvres in the Persian Gulg and a media campaign (ie: cnn blitz) claiming that Iran is planning a “summer offensive” against US forces in Iraq by “linking al-Qaeda and Sunni insurgents to Tehran’s Shi’ite militia allies”. These are the same Iraqi Sunnis who use the term ‘Iranian’ as an insult toward their Shia compatriots.

Are you confused yet? I know I am.

I do wish that both governments will release the detained (one of which happens to be an aquaintance of mine) and put a stop to these irresponsible games before they escalate the situation towards another disastrous conflict in the Middle East.

Such arrest indicates that the Iranian regime is not a democracy but a system which is afraid of the concept and therefore by arresting its citizens indicating that fact. Growth of a functioning democracy is the future of young Iranians and all over the world, by arresting Haleh the Iranian people will and has questioned the Iranian regime, as the American people questioning the US militarism regime and its action around the world… where such behavior sooner or later has to be answered by both systems, until then, there is no such thing as a functioning democracy nor the basic elements of democracy, as some seams to state the falsehood of the matter. A country as Iraq has been destroyed by US militarism regime, the hope of people achieving democracy been demolished by the religious fundamentalism in Iran, simply by falsifying the facts in democracy a country as Yugoslavia and its people been divided and they have become the enemy of each other.

Haleh Esfandiari has to be released so as those responsible for 4 million homeless Iraqis that have fled the illegal invasion - war also needs to answer to the people, so as those whom; direct or indirect; ordered the killings of millions of Iraqi children… To pave the way for the future of a Functioning democracy it is an absolute for those responsible to face the law and consequences of their illegal action, a functioning democracy is not a one way path, it includes everyone which means that a functioning democracy starts at home.

Also, When I saw Her Daughter on NBC’Today Show, (God Bless her loving Daughter,) They never displayed, in writing, the correct spelling of the website, it was only mentioned, and without the correct spelling of such a uniquely spelled name, it may have come off as www.free “Holly”.com. (the way it sounded), or www.free “Holeigh”, etc.

SOMEONE NEEDS TO BE SURE TO CONTACT CHANNEL THE TODAY SHOW ON NBC AND ASK THEM TO PUT THE WEB ADDRESS WITH CORRECT SPELLING ACROSS THE SCREEN. fyi, I have a dish (hate it during raining weather, it fills up like a bowl.) but at least I was able to back up and see how her daughter’s name was spelled as it was listed below her own appearance. This gave me my best clue of even how to get to the website. Other people may not be able to rewind. or have this option. I had to rewind it twice to get the spelling. This could make a big difference if you need as many people as possible.

Tell her daugheter that, if, on these appearances they are not going show the name of the petition website written across the bottom, she or the interviewer should say how HALEH IS SPELLED. Good luck with your efforts.

Also, see if you can get some American Friendly Arab based Company to contribute some money for some more bandwith, or what ever else the effort could use. They should be interested in helping and we know they have deep pockets. Share, Karma, etc…

Tell Daughter Haleh that her whole family, especially her Mother, herself, and her 98 year old grandmother that I will hold them in my thoughts and prayers. (the agony they must be going through would be hard on even a young person.) And, I pray that our (EVERYONE’S) God above, will keep them strong and provide them the wisdom they need to get through this atrosity, and the clam they deserve.
